✔ Parents’ Do’s

Ensure regular attendance and punctuality of your child.
Review the school diary daily for homework and teacher notes.
Send your child in neat uniform and proper grooming.
Attend all Parent–Teacher Meetings and academic review sessions.
Provide a quiet study environment at home.
Inform the school about any change in phone number or address.
Encourage discipline, respect, and good behaviour.
Monitor your child’s mobile/internet usage at home.
Support school rules and reinforce positive habits.

✘ Parents’ Don’ts

Do not send your child to school if they are unwell.
Do not request exemptions that conflict with school norms.
Do not allow gadgets, valuables, or money to be carried to school.
Do not criticize teachers or school in front of children.
Do not encourage unnecessary leave or absenteeism.
Do not spread unverified information on parent groups.

Communication Guidelines

Parents should use the school diary, office contact, or official communication channels for queries.
Respectful communication with teachers and staff is expected.
Emergency or urgent concerns must be reported to the school office immediately.
Parents should avoid disturbing teachers during class hours; appointments can be scheduled.

Diary Usage

The school diary is a daily communication tool between parents and the school.
Check homework, notes, exam schedules, and updates regularly.
Parents must sign wherever required.
Students must bring the diary every day.

Change of Address / Updates

Parents must inform the school immediately regarding:

Change of residence
Change of phone number
Change of parent/guardian contact details
Failure to update may cause communication gaps.

Parent Responsibilities

Parents must:

Provide balanced meals and ensure the child’s hygiene.
Reinforce discipline, punctuality, and homework completion.
Encourage participation in academics, ECA, sports, and school events.
Cooperate with teachers in addressing behavioural or academic issues.
Avoid comparing children or putting excessive pressure.

Exam & Leave Instructions

No leave will be granted during tests or examinations.
For unavoidable emergencies, a leave letter must be submitted with supporting documents.
Students must attend all examinations to maintain progress continuity.
Parents should ensure revision routines and study schedules at home.

Ensure your child is dropped and picked up safely.
Do not send children with jewellery or valuables.
Guide children on good behaviour during travel and school hours.
Parents must avoid entering classrooms without permission.
