Scholarship

Presidency Higher Secondary School (Elite) supports students from all backgrounds by helping them access various Government Scholarship Schemes. These scholarships are designed to encourage education, reward merit, and support economically deserving families. Our dedicated scholarship team guides parents in applying on time and ensures proper documentation for smooth sanctioning.

Government Scholarship Schemes

The school facilitates multiple government-approved schemes such as:

These schemes are available for eligible students from Class I to Class XII.

Post-Matric Scholarships (Classes XI – XII)

Pre-Matric Scholarships (Classes I – X) Applicable for:

SC Students
OBEC Students
Minority Students (Christian & Muslim families with annual income ≤ ₹2,00,000)

Sanction Amount (as per category & class):

I – V (Girls only – Retention Scholarship): ₹1,000
VI – VIII: ₹1,500
IX – X: ₹2,500
IX – X Girls (Opportunity Cost): ₹3,000

Attendance Scholarship

To encourage regular attendance and discipline, the government offers:

Attendance Scholarship for Girls (Class IX & X): ₹200

Students with excellent attendance records are eligible.

Special Incentive Scholarship

Rewarding academic excellence:

Students scoring above 65% in Class X or other specified categories receive an additional incentive of:
₹1,000

This scholarship encourages high performance and consistent academic effort.

Required Documents (For All Scholarship Applications)

Parents must submit the following:

Student’s Aadhar Card (Copy)
Student’s Bank Passbook / Joint Account Passbook (Nationalized Banks Only)
Income Certificate (Latest)
Community / Caste Certificate
Residence Certificate
Previous Year’s Marksheet
Tuition Fees Paid Receipt
Bonafide Certificate from School
Government employee parents must attach *Original NOC* from their department

All documents must be submitted in full; incomplete forms may lead to rejection.

Application Timeline

Applications must be submitted before July of the Academic Year.
Parents are advised to complete the process early to avoid delays.
School office assists in filling the application, checking documents, and submitting to the respective department.
Updates regarding sanction and disbursement will be communicated to parents.
